This is one of the best selling kukri of Khukuri&Craft, Ceremonial khukuri has similar resemblance with service no.1 except scabbard which aim is to be used for ceremonial purpose. They share a good shine environment in the ceremonial field and provide grace in the dancing of dauntless. The scabbard is made of patent leather and is used for ceremonial purposes. When gurkhas soldiers march in the arena or ground in uniform/ceremony dress with gurkha hat, they wield this shining khukuri and unsheathe to make a dance. Therefore it is called service no. 1 ceremonial kukri. The Gurkhas Soldiers carry this Service Ceremonial kukri on special occasions like ceremonial kukri drill before high ranking officers or dignitaries. All Khukuris have two pockets on the back of the scabbard which hold a blunt steel called “chakmak” for sharpening the blade or for striking spark from flint and a little knife known as “karda” used for skinning small animals such as rabbits. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy.
